We designed every lamp so the beautiful wooden body stays untouched and timeless, while the technology lives in a completely separate, removable core. This is the heart of the Mylumium system: the lamp you buy today will never become obsolete. The core simply slides in and out, letting you upgrade, change features, or even swap in entirely new capabilities whenever you want without ever altering the lamp itself.

The very first Mylumium lamps already use this core principle. A compact, concealed channel holds today's smartest LED bulbs, socket, and cord. Upgrading is effortless: pull out the old core, slide in a new one. You can refresh the light colour, add smart-home features, or switch to a different bulb type in seconds. Multiple cores let you change the mood seasonally or turn one lamp into several different lights. The lamp body remains pristine forever.

The next step is a larger, more capable core that fits a channel in the base. This will accept bigger bulbs, additional electronics, and more advanced components all while keeping the same easy slide-in design. Every lamp sold in today is already built to accept these future cores with no modification.
